I understand recurring memberships are common now, though clearer reminders before billing would help avoid confusion. Genealogy research can take time, so many people subscribe temporarily for specific projects rather than long-term use. The platform itself contains useful information, but account management should feel more transparent overall. I also found cancellation settings harder to locate than expected.
